18 System Description

Matrix MXE-3000 Series

User’s Manual

2.3.2 COM Ports

The MXE-3000 provides 4x 9-pin male dub ports on the rear

panel. The MXE-3000 COM1 and COM2 provide different modes

of serial communication and are RS-232/RS-422/RS-485, which

can be set in BIOS. Please refer to Section 4.1 for detail. COM3

and COM4 only provide RS-232.
