3 Getting Started

This chapter discusses installation of a hard disk drive and a Com-

pactFlash card into the system, as well as COM port jumper set-

tings and wall-mount installation.

3.1 Replacing a Hard Disk Drive

Before installing a hard disk drive, the front panel, rear panel, and

bottom chassis must be disassembled, according to the following

instructions.

1. Use a #3 hex wrench to unscrew all 6 screws (M3 hex

bolts) from the front panel and remove the panel.
